The Hurley Master Ball Rebounder was originally designed for use as a hurling training net. But, we built one and tried it out and it's ideal to practice throwing and catching skills in cricket. We also used the Hurley Master to hit a tennis ball and practice our returns. The sturdy steel frame measures 5' 9" High x 5' Wide so offers a large practice area in excess of 28 square feet.
It took us around 15 minutes to erect the 1st time and was really simple to do. The net is attached using elastic toggles which have hooks on to grab the net. If you need or want to increase the tension then move the hook in one square on the net.
The red tape can be threaded through the net to give a target area and can be made as big or as small as you like.
The frame is anchored to the ground with 4 ground hooks. When not in use the frame can be easily dismantled and stored in the durable zipped bag. Spare nets and clips are also available to purchase should you need them in the future.
Great fun for the family to use at home in the garden or the player to practice skill development.
Not suitable for use with a football though as the larger surface area of the ball makes the rebound less effective.
