    Whether you are exercising at home or the gym, it is certain you should be using a good quality exercise mat. You really don't want to be sweating onto your expensive carpets or making your tiled or wood flooring slippy. Most exercise mats are called either a yoga mat or pilates mat but in reality both are the same product. They are also suitable for doing other exercises not just yoga and pilates.

        This TPE exercise mat is perfect for Yoga, Pilates and fitness classes. It offers excellent grip to hard floor surfaces and gives you a nice cushion effect, so you can exercise for longer. The mat is constructed from a TPE and TC (polyester and cotton) material which makes it easy to wipe clean after each use.

            This yoga/pilates mat measures 183cm x 61cm x 4mm and is the ideal size for home or gym use. Working out from home is becoming more popular in recent times, not surprising given most gyms are closed or closing. Our exercise mat is 100% latex and PVC free which is a must should you suffer from those allergies.

                Why use a yoga/pilates mat for exercise? Should your workout be at home you need to be able switch into a workout mode. By using an exercise mat, you switch the brain on to focus on exercising, rather than just laying down on your carpet. They also give you an element of safety if using on a hard surface, as they offer a good level of comfort and support. After use, the mat should be wiped down and when fully dried, it can be rolled up and stored until your next session.

                    It is recommended to wipe down after every use and then periodically to place the mat in warm soapy water and clean thoroughly, then hang to dry.
