It is that time of year when we like to go back and review our predictions for 2011 and then vow to do better this year. We don't profess to know it all about sport but it is fun trying. We only got 2 right in 2011 - New Zealand to win the rugby world cup and KP being the top run scorer in the Indian test series. So should we go for some safe bats to ensure we get more right or take the risk again. We challenge you to have a go and beat our man in the know. It's just for fun, give it a go. Sportsballshop's 2012 sporting predictions:-

1. Manchester City to finish 3rd in the Premiership
2. Manchester United to win the Premiership
3. Wales to win The 6 Nations rugby
4. Great Britain will achieve their biggest haul of medals in the London Olympics since 1908. We predict Britain will gain in excess of 57 medals overall (still some way short of the 1908 total of 146)
5. Andy Murray will win his first Grand Slam tournament this year.
6. Bradley Wiggins to complete the 2012 Tour De France and finish in the top 3.
7. Stuart Broad to be the highest wicket taker in the summer test series against South Africa
8. Jonathon Trott to be the highest run scorer in the summer test series against South Africa
9. Europe will win the Ryder Cup 15 1/2 to 13 1/2 at the Medinah Country Club in the USA.
10. David Haye will come out of retirement and once again lose to a Klitschko but not in March as at first expected. This bout will happen int he second half of the year.
