We have re-introduced our Lusum Optio cricket ball by popular demand. This ball is suitable for school and club use.

The Lusum Optio cricket ball is designed to be used for training or for matches up to 40 overs.

Our Pink Lusum Optio ball is ideal as a great value midweek league ball and is available in Men's and youth sizes only. It can be used in games and net practice when poor light is an issue.

Made in Pakistan with 3 layers of Portuguese cork and Pakistan Wool core.
Hand stitched.
4 piece leather construction.
Cowhide leather outer.

Good budget ball

In general, very cheap balls like this tend to be "bat breakers." However as a full time cricket coach I'm always on the lookout for good budget balls and these are one of my favourite options under £10. Don't get me wrong they do feel pretty hard new, like all cheap balls, but they break in okay and keep their shape for a long time. I've just ordered my 2nd load of them. While I wouldn't use these in competitive matches, I've given 5* because you can't beat them or fault them for the price and for coaching/training they've been great for me.
