Mixed Netball, Why Not Korfball.

One of the biggest growing sports in Australia is Netball but, not in the way you would probably think. The obvious conclusion would be lots more women and girls are taking up the sport. Well they may be but, the big growth area is in MIXED NETBALL. Not everyone enjoys going to nightclubs and bars to socialize. More people play sport to enjoy an active social life these days than those that frquent the clubs and bars in the early hours. The rise in popularity in Mixed Netball, suggests Men and Women are also finding this a fun way of meeting members of the opposite sex. There aren't many sports that play with mixed sexed teams so, what better way to try to meet a new partner. In the Uk, Mixed Netball hasn't really taken off yet but, there is an alternative. Korfball is a game consisting of 8 players per side, 4 Men and 4 Women. It is similar to Netball but, maybe a little quicker. You can only mark a member of the same sex, so all players have a good chance of making an impact on the game. You also have a mixed social network already sorted.
