What Is The Stadium Capacity Of Clubs In The English Premier League?

Tottenham Hotspur finally moved into their new stadium on the site of the old White Hart Lane ground, after months of delays. The capacity is over 62,000 and hosts a huge amount of corporate seating to maximise match day revenue. This is seen as the future for most football clubs, when looking a ground development or building new stadia, as it gives the fan a fantastic match day experience whilst also boosting club revenue streams.

If all of the grounds were full on a round of Premier League fixtures the amount of fans attending would be 808,627. Given the average price for the cheapest seats across the league are around £35 this would give an income in excess of £28 million. How AFC Bournemouth can continue to survive though on gates under 11,500 only time will tell.
